Nadira has worked in the Financial Industry for over two decades having accumulated experience in Retail Banking, Asset Management, Financial Planning, Credit Management, Insurances and Investment Advisory Services.
During her tenure in the Financial Sector she also gained valuable knowledge and extensive experience in training, event planning, communication, marketing and business development. This has worked to strengthen her skills in sales and prospecting leading to her role as Director – Business Development within the Fortitude Team. Her keen understanding of human behaviour and willingness to listen and build relationships as opposed to product selling has made her a Financial Planner that clients turn to for trusted advice in every aspect of planning for their future.
Nadira is a firm believer in sharing knowledge at no cost and after completing her Certification as a Financial Advisor in 2006 has hosted several financial literacy seminars across Trinidad and Tobago. Top CFP Graduate from Roytec in 2008 having completed the Advocis CFP® Designation Program, she opened her workshops to corporations as part of their Employee Financial Wellness Programs. She has also prepared material to be used in seminars organized by Banker’s Association of Trinidad and Tobago and has facilitated financial seminars on behalf of the Tobago House of Assembly. Making use of the extra time during the pandemic, Nadira went on to complete the CFP® through the American College for Financial Advisors and achieved 100% in her final comprehensive course.
Nadira has also done work with the Volunteer Center of Trinidad and Tobago in the capacity of Volunteer Relationship Manager to use her knowledge to aid the Center in recognising and rewarding their volunteers and using this to also recruit and keep new volunteers across Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean.
Nadira has brought her understanding of the financial sector as well as financial instruments to Fortitude to offer the full suite of Financial Planning services to both individual and corporate clients. She continues to approach life and work following the motto of her high school ‘non nobis solum sed omnibus’ meaning ‘not for ourselves only but for all’.
